EUPSA EMERGE – An Advanced, Interactive Learning Journey for Pediatric Surgery Trainees

Introduction

EUPSA proudly presents EMERGE – EUPSA Teaching Seminars, born from the collaboration between TEPS and the Educational Office,  a dedicated educational seminar series designed exclusively for pediatric surgery trainees across Europe – free of charge!

This resident-only platform aims to foster in-depth learning and active interaction through tailored sessions for both junior and senior trainees. Each seminar offers a unique opportunity to engage directly with leading experts in pediatric surgery, ask questions, and deepen understanding of both core and advanced topics within the EUPSA network.

The seminars will focus on complex procedures and surgical techniques, delivered by some of the most experienced pediatric surgeons in Europe. Sessions are intentionally designed to be highly interactive and practical, moving away from traditional lecture-based formats and instead emphasizing:

  • surgical decision-making

  • operative steps

  • intraoperative challenges

  • complications and troubleshooting

Join us on this journey to master both the science and the art of pediatric surgery within the EUPSA community, and to help spread knowledge across borders.
