TRAVEL
By Air:

Dubrovnik International Airport (Čilipi Airport) is the primary gateway to the city, located about 20 km (12 miles) from the Old Town. The airport offers direct flights to many European cities, especially during peak travel seasons (summer months). Regular flights connect Dubrovnik to major hubs like London, Frankfurt, Paris, and Istanbul, as well as other Croatian cities like Zagreb. The airport has shuttle services and taxis that transport passengers directly to the city center.

By Road:

Dubrovnik is accessible by car, though it is located at Croatia’s southern tip, which makes the journey longer for those coming from other parts of the country. The Adriatic Highway (D8) offers scenic coastal routes for those driving from Split, Zadar, or further north. Bus services are also available, connecting Dubrovnik to major cities within Croatia and neighboring countries like Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. The bus station is situated about 2.5 km from the Old Town.

By Sea:

Dubrovnik has a busy port and is a popular stop for cruise ships. Ferry services run between Dubrovnik and several islands, including the Elaphiti Islands, as well as international connections to Bari, Italy. Smaller boats and yachts often dock in Dubrovnik’s marina.

By Train:

There is no direct train service to Dubrovnik. The nearest train stations are in Split or Ploče, from where travellers can take a bus or taxi to reach Dubrovnik.

With these varied options, Dubrovnik is well-connected and accessible for visitors from across Europe and beyond.
